Under the newly augmented fund, each ration package, valued at more than Rs3,000, contains essential commodities vital for sustenance. The distribution process is meticulously planned, with ration packs being disseminated to those in need during the early morning and late-night hours. This strategic timing ensures that assistance reaches households efficiently, catering to the diverse schedules of the recipients.

Financial Aid Through Mobile Applications

In a groundbreaking move, the provincial government has devised a digital solution to disburse financial aid. Approximately two million people will receive cash transfers via mobile applications, providing them with financial relief during these challenging times. Starting from Monday, these phased cash transfers, amounting to Rs3,000, will help families meet their immediate needs, ensuring that the support is provided in a timely and efficient manner.

Ration distribution, facilitated by assistant commissioners and representatives of Union Councils (UCs), is executed between 5 pm to 7 pm. Adaptable Measures for an Extended Lockdown
